The service
Tally, at tally-now.app, is a monthly ledger built on the figures you enter. It is provided free of charge. We may change or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice inside the app before shutting the service down.
Not financial advice
Everything Tally shows — what is in the bank, bills still due, what is left after them — is arithmetic on your own entries, starting from the balance you typed in. It is not financial, tax, legal or investment advice, and it does not know about money you have not typed in. Check important decisions against your real accounts.
Your account
You sign in with an Apple ID you are entitled to use. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for what is entered under it. One person, one ledger; do not use Tally to store someone else's finances without their permission.
Your data
The ledger you enter is yours. You can export it or ask us to delete it at any time, as described in the privacy policy. We keep it only so it follows you between devices. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another person's ledger, probe or overload the service, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that does.
No warranty
Tally is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose; the export is there for that.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any financial decision made in reliance on figures shown in Tally. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is nothing.
Ending things
You can stop using Tally at any time and ask for your account to be deleted. We may close accounts that break these terms. Sections about data, warranties and liability survive closure.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Continued use after a change means you accept it. A material change will be announced inside the app first.
